After almost a year of sell-out Tigers Rugby Courses, all of the participants were invited to participate in a parade at Welford Road just before kick-off at the opening home game of the Guinness Premiership season against Bath.

This was a great event and gave the children a chance to show the strength of support for the club from the youngsters. The parade featured boys and girls aged 8-16 and illustrated the wide appeal of the Tigers courses.

It was great seeing such a great turn-out for the parade more than 260 children marching around the hallowed turf at Welford Road.

The Tigers Rugby Courses return in October with events hosted at Syston RFC, Market Harborough RFC and Stratford-Upon-Avon RFC.

This year the Tigers community team have also expanded their coaching to take in a course based in Guernsey as sponsored by Ashburton.

The October courses run from Monday to Friday, October 22 to 26.

A limited number of places are still available. To book, log on to the website at www.leicestertigers.com/rugbycoursesor call the Tigers community team on 0116 2171 221.
