Tigers Rugby Courses have attracted young players from across the Midlands this week at Syston, Market Harborough and Stratford Upon Avon.
Sponsored by Flogas and featuring senior coaches Troy Thacker, Ian ‘Dosser’ Smith and Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom, the courses feature five full days of rugby coaching in some excellent rugby club facilities.

“There has been a lot of interest in the Tigers Rugby Courses once again during this half-term,” said Tigers community manager Scott Clarke.

“We have continued with our Eight-Star Awards scheme and also brought in some judo coaching which adds a different aspect to the players’ training and mirrors some of the techniques coached at the Tigers Academy.”

Tigers have confirmed details for the first two courses of 2008. Stoke RFC will host a week for the first time on February 11-15, with Oakham RFC the venue during Rutland half-term on February 18-22.

Tigers Rugby Courses feature coaching from qualified coaches, full-time first-aid/physio, membership to the Junior Tigers Club, Tigers rugby ball, Tigers water bottle, Tigers T-shirt, hot lunch and drinks, plus Tigers souvenirs.
