Judo instruction has become a part of the programme for Tigers’ senior and Academy players in their training and now younger players are having a taste of the action on Tigers Rugby Courses.

“The first two weeks of the Rugby Courses have gone really well, the facilities have been excellent and we have had good groups of players and coaches,” said Tigers’ community manager Scott Clarke. “Now we are looking forward to the next few weeks with another full programme in a number of venues.”

The coaching team will be travelling all over the region to schools and rugby clubs who are hosting Tigers courses. Young players will work with our community and academy coaches at courses lasting four or five days. Courses are suitable for all players aged 8-16. This year, Tigers are also running a girls’ course (for age 14-17) alongside the mixed course at Sleaford RFC in August.
