On his return to Leicester, Andy finished as the Premiership’s leading points scorer – totaling 266, with 151 points for Tigers and 115 for Sarries. He became only the fifth player to the break the 1,000-point barrier in the English Premiership and is set to reach 1500 points for Tigers during the early stages of the 2007/08 season.
Andy joined Tigers as a teenager nine years ago, having also excelled at cricket during his time at King Henry VIII School in Coventry. He has represented England at U-18, U-21, second team and senior level, winning nine caps to date. A three-time Heineken Cup finalist with Tigers, he has also played in five Championship-winning sides, while his 11 conversions in the 83-10 win over Newcastle in 2005 is a league record for Tigers.
