| Franck, who is 4th on the all-time most capped prop list for France behind Christian Califano, Robert Paparemborde and Amedee Domenech, in all has 49 caps and played in the 1999 World Cup final. He played for Narbonne until he transferred to Toulouse in the summer of 1997, gaining French Champions medals with them in 1999 and 2001, and a French Cup winners medal in 1998. He faced the Tigers twice in the 1997-98 Heineken Cup and becomes the first Frenchman to play for Tigers in their 122-year history, aptly making his debut in the Orange Cup game against Biarritz in August 2002.
Franck returned to France in May 2003.
